Derek's mom came to visit last week! We were so happy she was here and she taught us a lot about babies!

2 weeks old

Aubrey turned 2 weeks old on September 22! It's amazing how much she's changed in 1 week! She keeps her eyes open much more and is so alert!

Aubrey Wren Grice

Aubrey is here! She arrived September 8 at 6:18 via C-section. She is just perfect and we are so in love with her! Here are a few pictures that we have taken so far.

Who's Aubrey?

Isbell, "Who is Aubrey and what's all the fuss?" Petty, "I don't know who Aubrey is, but she must be a big deal. Maybe she is a movie star." These 2 know something is going on! Isbell has been especially clingy! Petty walks around the nursery just taking it all in! We're all pretty anxious for Aubrey to make her arrival! In the meantime, we're finishing up her room and trying to make sure we have everything we'll need when she comes home from the hospital. Nothing is hung on the walls yet, but that's all we have left.






She'll certainly be a Texan in this gear...a Waylon Jennings onesie...a pearl snap shirt and some handmade boots by Mrs. Silvers!

A sweet picture with me and Aubrey (who she is named after)...and we already have several smocked dresses!!! This one has 2 puppies on it- 1 is Isbell and 1 is Petty!

My mom sent us this 2X2 Walter Anderson and Derek watercolored it! It looks great!



She has a few things to wear!!! Not sure she'll have to wear things twice! We've also had so much fun making things for her!





We have 6 weeks to go...everything is going great! I go back to work on August 15th and the kids start August 22nd.
