After the costume at Halloween, I knew I had to get Isbell something to wear home at Christmas- so I found this Santa costume!

We've got the house all decorated! Even Isbell decided to pose for some pics! She hasn't messed with any ornaments, but I'm sure she'll discover them soon- just like she discovered my shoes, Derek's socks, kitchen towels, toilet paper rolls, cell phone chargers (3 of them), an $80 computer cord, 2 sets of head phones.....

Our little girl is growing up!

It's amazing to how much Isbell has grown since we got her back in July!

Montana- Even though we lost, we had a great time! Just stayed really cold!!!

Montana bound

We are headed to Montana Thursday afternoon for football! Texas State is playing the University of Montana. I am so excited, but I'm sad we're leaving Isbell behind- it will be her first overnight trip to the vet (at least they are friends of ours).
Please keep us in your prayers as we travel. Snow flurries are in the forecast!

While Derek works...

While Derek worked this weekend, Isbell "moped" around the house. At one point, she was laying on his side of the bed and then she decided to sit and watch football! She looks for Derek when he's gone! It's so funny!

Ryan Adams

Derek and I went to see Ryan Adams last night in Austin. He was wonderful- played 2 1/2 hours! We had great seats and even snuck in a few pictures!

Birthday- I survived!

New Desk! Finally!

We finally got a new desk our "home office/music room".

I was soooo happy to get something to put our computer on- it was on a file cabinet, folding table and boxes. We bought a rug and chair too! The rug even matches some fabric I bought this summer in Jackson!

Visitors

Our friend Rob drove into today from Houston with his boxer- Hutch! His house is fine- he just doesn't have power and water and doesn't know when it will get restored. It took Isbell a little while to warm up to him, but she's doing better! We'll see how tonight goes....

Speaking of Ike- we got nothing. The weather predicted heavy rain and wind today..Well- that didn't happen. The sun was out and it was hot. We would have liked some rain. Oh well...that's Texas weather for you!

Oh Dear!

Oh Dear! Those were the words coming out of my mouth when I went into the kitchen this afternoon and discovered what our "angel" had done. I was trying to get our closet under control and when I went back into the kitchen a tornado had hit! So I got my camera to capture this "terrible twos" moment and she even posed for pictures!

A few weeks ago, we went to see Pat Green for the first time! Thanks to Ben, we had really great seats- backstage!!

Blogging for family

Well, I've finally decided to start a family blog so that everyone can see our growing family- I'm talking about the dog of course! Here's Isbell's latest pics- she has grown so much since we got her in July. She weighs about 15 pounds now. She's very smart- fetches the ball (the laundry ball) and even helps with the dishes!
